R. Kelly has been locked up and charged with 10 counts of aggravated sexual abuse charges and now he is seeking to be released from prison with fears he will contract the Coronavirus.
He asked a federal judge Thursday March 26 to free him from federal jail in Chicago where he is currently awaiting trail on child pornograpghy as well as other sexual related charges.
R.Kelly’s lawyers claim that R.Kelly is at risk of catching the Coronavirus by being behind bars its a high chance it puts his life at risk. His Lawyers also claim that its hard to get sanitizers and even soap in the Metropolitan Correctional Center with about 700 inmates currently held in small, two -men cells.
Kelly who is 53, is currently facing many countsĀ of federal and state sexual misconduct charges in Minnesota, Illinois, and New York, He has denied all charges.
