Mai officially announced her coupling with rapper Jeezy on Instagram, yesterday. The news doesn’t necessarily come as a surprise because rumors have been circulating for a while.

What does raise an eyebrow, are the interesting comments made by the daytime host several years ago regarding black men.
In a segment on The Real, Mai admits to “loving black men” but goes on to say “for me dark meat on the side, white meat keeps me mean and lean.” She was married to a white man at the time. Of course, this statement didn’t go over well, hence the reaction from her co-hosts and the audience.
Mai quickly tried to clean it up, but the damage had already been done. Now years later, post-divorce and sans a co-host, Jeannie Mai is kicking it with her new man, when this surfaces:
Here’s Brenda Song’s racist ass saying she only fucks Black men but married white.
I wish her and Young Jeezy all the best. pic.twitter.com/Saxp9jHEOA

Leave it to the internet to dig up your most unflattering moments. Well, the Twittersphere didn’t let that slide or the fact that the person originally calling the comment racist was mistaking Mai for one of the few other Asian entertainers in Hollywood. Just messy.
You calling her racist and then calling her Brenda Song is wild lol, the hypocrisy jumped out

That’s @jeanniemai so please tag her as such. @BrendaSong would NEVER say some racist shit like that. Jeannie dumb AF for saying she use black men for pleasure but they weren’t good enough for marriage. Fuck her.

Reminds me of the #InsecureHBO episode when the two white girls banged Lawrence and then completely dismissed him once they were done using him for his “dark meat”. pic.twitter.com/KGxMoHDkqu
