Everyone these days is looking for quick cash, but 4 tri-citIes men went about it ALL WRONG!
Colonial Heights police arrested four men in connection with a cell phone theft ring in the Colonial Heights-Petersburg area. 3 of the men worked in a Colonial Heights UPS store and would steal phones that were being sent out by customers to phone insurance providers. The men then ship the empty boxes to the insurance providers, then sell the cell phones at area electronics kiosks and private buyers.
The men have been charged with an assortment of charges including embezzlement, conspiracy, and receiving stolen property
