Williamson announced via his social media his new $15 million partnership The Jordan Brand that extends five years.
This deal makes him the highest-paid annual rookie shoe deal in NBA history, topping LeBron’s estimated $12 million per year rookie deal inked in 2003.
Williamson was offered more money from Jordan competitors, but the North Carolina native says it’s always been a dream to work with fellow Carolina native Michael Jordan.
