Varina High School Graduate Killed In Murder-Suicide On NYE

It is being reported that 25-year-old Michelle Rawlings, was shot and killed earlier this week in a murder-suicide.

According to CBS 6, authorities were called out to Rawlings’ home around 7:30 p.m. on Monday. When they arrived,  they found Rawlings dead of a gunshot wound. Authorities also found her ex-boyfriend Tyshawn Buckner dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Rawlings was a Varina High School graduate and an assistant basketball coach for Altee High School.
