We’ve watched Regina Hall for so many years in some of our favorite movies. She stopped by “The Rickey Smiley Morning Show” to speak about her new movie “The Hate U Give,” love life and much more. The movie has everyone talking because it has a lot to do with what we see on the news everyday.

A young lady witnesses the murder of her childhood friend during a police stop and has to juggle life in the hood and at school. Working with a new crop of talent has been amazing for her. Hall mentioned that they are filled with so much integrity and she loves to observe them.
When asked about her love life Hall spoke about not announcing anything unless she’s getting married or having a baby. Hall always wanted to get married, but has thoughts about how it would operate. When she was younger she watched her friends mom and dad live in two different homes. At that moment Hall knew that’s what she wanted. She believes it will give them both the space they need. If her future husband isn’t down for the arrangements she’s okay with it, but everyone has to do what’s best for their relationship.
