During a Beats 1 Radio Podcast Travis Scott along with other notable Hip-Hop artists such as Lil Yachty, Pharrell Williams, and Kevin Abstract discussed their admiration for Kid Cudi. Travis Scott, who says he “idolizes” Cudi, thinks that Cudi is such a good artist that he could go bar for bar with Jay-Z. “He created that vibe and that planet, where you can mack on b____ and still be smooth, but still feel like you’re the king scientist. Not everyone is as real as their music is. That artist comes once every decade.” says Scott Abstract says that Cudi saved his life and Yachty acknowledges that Cudi makes music for those that are in their feelings and the “creative kids”. Kid Cudi fans haven’t gotten new music from him since his 2016 album, “Passion, Pain, and Demon Slayin’”, Kanye West recently announced that he will be releasing an album with Cudi called “Kids See Ghosts” on June 8th.
