Fantasia suffered 2nd degree burns to her arm when her vaporizer fell on her while she was sleeping, according to TMZ.
According to TMZ, she was dozing on her tour bus Sunday with an aromatherapy vaporizer nearby.
She uses the vaporizer to soothe her vocal cords. Apparently, she rolled over onto the machine’s cord, which caused hot water to spill out on her right forearm.
Fantasia was alone on the bus when the accident occurred, the rest of her team was inside the Memphis venue getting ready for the show that night.
Doctors have removed the damaged skin and expect her to heal fully … without surgery or permanent scarring.
She had to postpone the Memphis tour stop, but plans to resume the tour Wednesday night in Los Angeles.
