Lupe Fiasco‘s had enough.

“I’m officially not releasing anymore music,” Lupe tweeted on Tuesday (December 13). “Getting beat up for telling the truth is not how I plan on spending the rest of life.”

The announcement comes a day after the release of “N.E.R.D.,” which takes shots at J. Cole for “Everybody Dies” and “False Prophets.” The song — which borrows the instrumental from “Everybody Dies” and includes the lyrics Artist gettin’ robbed for their publishing, by dirty Jewish execs that think his alms from the covenant” — has received heated criticism due to its seemingly anti-Semitic tone.

While Lupe denied claims of being anti-Semitic, the track was removed from Soundcloud for “promoting hate speech.” He later announced that his forthcoming albums — Drogas, Drogas Light and Skulls — would no longer be released.

While fans were sad, they expressed gratitude toward Lupe and his contributions to hip-hop.
