Kanye West and Kid Cudi haven’t been on the best terms lately. After exchanging shots on Twitter and during shows over the past couple weeks, the dueling G.O.O.D. Music artists may be on the road to repairing their fractured friendship.
On Wednesday, Kanye gave a shout-out to Cudi during a stop on his Saint Pablo tour. West stopped after performing “Waves” and told the crowd to send some love to Cudi by singing along to “Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1,” which he announced is now number one in the country. Cudi was a co-writer on the track.
The positive vibes are a good sign. Both Cudi and West have been in verbal spats lately, including Cudi’s Twitter diss of Kanye and Drake last month and Kanye’s anti-Jay Z speech last week. Only time will tell if the moody MCs will reconcile, but things are looking up.
