ATL Premiere Of WE Tv's 'Growing Up Hip Hop'

A Georgia judge has thrown out the civil lawsuit filed by former Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta star Althea Eaton that alleges co-star Joseline Hernandez beat her up in a crack-fueled rage. Eaton has also claimed that she believes the fight led to her firing from the show.

DeKalb State Court Judge Alvin Wong found that Eaton’s case didn’t have a valid claim despite Eaton asserting that witnesses saw Joseline getting high before the taping of the reunion show during which the two go in a physical altercation. Joseline’s lawyer responded to the claim by saying that the reality star took a blood test and it came back showing that she was sober.

The case was supposed to go to trial this week but Judge Wong threw it out after seeing Eaton’s evidence. Herndandez’s attorney, Tony Mathis said, “The case was a bunch of nonsense.”

Hernandez reportedly even tried to patch things up with Eaton in the courtroom. “She just really wanted to get it over with,” Mathis said of his client. “She felt very, very relieved that the case didn’t go forward… The only thing Ms. Hernandez is focused on is becoming a mother.”

Eaton is not ready to let things go just yet though, and according to her attorney, they will be appealing the ruling. “We know Judge Wong to be a very competent jurist,” he told Bossip. “But we think the decision was erroneous and we will be filing an appeal in this matter.”

It appears that this is one legal drama that Hernandez can finally start to move on from.
