Dascha Polanco arrived at People en Espanol’s 50 Most Beautiful People party in Manhattan on Tuesday evening. The Orange Is The New Black star showed off her curves and went braless in a $208.00 white, bandaged House of CB maxi dress paired with black heels. She kept her makeup neutral with nude lips and a bronzey eye. I LOVE this look on Dascha. More curves than the Audobon and it’s refreshing to see a plus-size girl on the red carpet not only rocking it, but also doing so confidently.

However, every woman’s gala nightmare occurred for Dascha. Venezuelan host, Daniela Di Giacomo donned the same dress! Daniela joked on social media, stating, “#B*tchStoleMyLook!” She then followed up with a good natured comment, “Hahaha typical you reach the #alfombra of #peopleenespanol of #los50masbellos and you get the beautiful bombshell #DaschaPolanco using the same dress! Puesss I say, we have the same taste! #loveher.”

The dress debacle should have ended like that, but in the words of Tupac, “everyone had to open their mouths with a motherf*cking opinion,” particularly Univision hosts for El Gordo y La Flaca, commenting on the actresses weight and comparing her to Daniela. Word got back to Dascha and the curvy bombshell posted a headshot of her from the party on the red carpet and let Univision have it. She stated,

It’s really tasteless to come across today that a host of @univision @elgordoylaflaca have used poor choices of words that have become offensive.  They have created an environment in which it has ignited bullying across their platforms & has instigated against my weight due to the same dress being worn by one of their host and I last night. Interesting that they chose to glorify something so superficial like this, and not focus on the issues Latinos face in Hollywood. I don’t get how they allow their reporters to use profanity to make noise.#ismellgood #ieatbullies #OffensiveFoul#siempreyo #gordayto#estacurvasnuncasevanaenderezar

Damn. You know it’s real when you get “@” on social media.

At time of publishing, Univision has yet to respond.
