According to RadarOnline reports:
Houghton, 44, worked as a minister at Lakewood Church as far back as 2011. A rep for the church confirmed to Radar that he is no longer part of the fold after announcing his divorce amid cheating rumors in February.
“Lakewood Church released Israel Houghton from his responsibilities as a worship leader [in February] and placed him on indefinite leave. Since that time, he has not been featured in any Lakewood Church related activities.”
“Lakewood Church is not at liberty to discuss publicly any details regarding Israel’s personal situation, but stands ready to provide Israel with spiritual counseling and guidance should he choose to seek it.”
As Radar reported, Houghton was spotted on vacation with Bailon over the weekend. He was still wearing a wedding band, even though him and wife of 20 years are separated.
Of course Houghton insisted that Bailon, 32, was not the other woman responsible for breaking up his marriage.
