Heavy snow will continue to fall Friday evening, with accumulations of 1″ per hour in some areas. Visibility may be below 1/2 mile and the temperatures will hold in the mide 20s to lower 30s. Warmer air is expected to try to hit later this evening, causing a wintry mix in the metro snow changing to sleet and freezing rain.
