Profanity being used in the sports world is nothing new, but it is in fact a bit more difficult for sports crew’s job that are covering the action on the field and/or court.

Detroit Pistons point guard Reggie Jackson returned to Chesapeake Energy Arena yesterday, November 30, where he began his NBA career with the Oklahoma City Thunder back in 2011. Seeing that his contributions to the team severly pale in comparison to the damage he’s doing in Detroit (he’s currently averaging career highs in points, rebounds and assists), he was naturally met with some heckling. However, his response was may have been a bit offensive to say the least.

After being substituted during the game, a fan yelled to Jackson to which he replied, “Suck my d*ck you b*tch ass ni**a.”

The NBA doesn’t play when it comes to protecting their image and the 25-year-old baller from out of Boston College was hit with a stiff $25,000 fine, as announced by Kiki VanDeWeghe, Executive Vice President, Basketball Operations.

Jackson signed a 5yr 80million contract to be with the team this past summer so it is doubtful he’ll bat an eyelash on his next statement but he  may one to watch what he says to play it safe.
