After an odd promotional strategy that allowed fans to decide its release date through preorders, Jay Rock‘s long coming sophomore studio album is finally here. 90059, Top Dawg Entertainment’s first release since To Pimp A Butterfly, is now out for your listening pleasure. Unlike Lamar’s opus, 90059 features Black Hippy in addition to a few outsiders, including Busta Rhymes.

Jay Rock’s debut album Follow Me Home was the lowest-selling of TDE’s initial studio releases. Whoever heard the album got a scattershot project with some glimpses of potential. Can Black Hippy’s most street-bound rapper realize that potential with this release?

TDE also has some more heat on the way. SZA has been performing new material live, and Isaiah Rashad hinted he had some new stuff on the way. TDE is still going strong. Get 90059 here.
