Back in April when Chris Brown was incarcerated for leaving rehab, authorities transported Chris Brown across the US to our nation’s capitol, where they made a stop at San Bernardino County Jail. Chris was there for several days and left his ID with officials at the jail where Brown was required by procedure to have one while inside of the facility.
Now this week, someone tried to sell Brown’s ID on the web for 10K!
When Chris Brown’s lawyer Mark Geragos discovered this happened to his client, he went to see officials at San Bernardino Sheriff’s Department and said to them “WTF?”
According to sources, an investigation by the San Bernardino Sheriff’s Dept led to authorities discovering and taking possession of Brown’s ID from a man in the area the stated he got Chris Brown’s ID from a friend that got it from another person.
Authorities are still trying to determine whether or not if a crime has occurred and how this incident even happened.
