Well, that was fast!

After just three episodes, NBC has pulled the plug on Blair Underwood’s new show “Ironside,” where he starred as a disabled officer in the NYPD detective unit.

Underwood has yet to comment on the cancelation, but according to reports, the network stopped production of the police drama due to underwhelming ratings after the premiere week.

The Huffington Post reports “Ironside” will be replaced by new episodes of “Dateline” and holiday-themed specials of “Saturday Night Live” for the remainder of the season. The show’s final episode will air on Wednesday, Oct. 23.
