From RapDose

Tyrone Briggs first made his intro to the rap game in early August with “Spartacus.” Since then he’s been shedding some light, with his viral series #ScatteredThoughts, expressing what motivates him, how he found his voice and why you should listen to it. The Staten Island artist doesn’t call himself a rapper..in fact, he wants you to realize that there’s more to Shaolin Island than just Wu-Tang.

Now, he gives us the visuals for “Spartacus,” which is the first single from his upcoming EP ScatteredThoughts. For the Sean Nathaniel-produced track, we’re given a black and white video, directed by Beezy Black, where we’re brought to Briggs’ hometown and are given a glimpse into his life and why he’s so hungry. Briggs has an undeniable point of view that’s currently missing from the game and as he says, “How could you appreciate Jesus if you was raised on Koran? How could you appreciate Jordan if you were raised on Lebron?”
