An adopted Virginia woman turned to social media in hopes of finding out more information about her birth mother from Houston.

Sabrina O’Kane, of Newport News, posted a public photo on Facebook Thursday featuring her holding two neon green posterboards with the details.

She asked friends and total strangers to share the image. So far, it has been shared over 1,300 times.
