Two of Black entertainment’s biggest names reportedly have some plans to hit the road together, but of course we’re all still keeping our fingers crossed while we wait to see if it actually happens. If you got excited like we did reading that headline out loud then continue to send up some positive energy in the direction actor/comedian Chris Rock who’s trying to get his brother in the business Dave Chappelle to return to the stage and our hearts this year with a proposed comedy tour.
During a recent interview on the grounds of the Sundance Film Festival, Chris Rock alluded to the fact the he’s seriously entertaining the thought, but of course, the upcoming project is still a rumor until something is etched in stone and venues are booked. Rock says with laughter “You know I’m not the hard one, but I’m trying to make that happen. After seeing Kanye and Jay-Z, I was like, ‘Me and Dave should do this.’ Do you think it could work out in their favor this year? We certainly think so.
