CHICAGO-Two high school football coaches at Fenger High School are accused of driving a group of teens to another Fenger student’s house so they could beat him over a disagreement about flip-flops.

Fenger High School gained notoriety in 2009 after a student Derrion Albert was beaten to death in a streetfight in an incident that was caught on video.

Video Shows Chicago Police Bringing Teen To Rival Gang Area

NBC Chicago reports:

Police said Tuesday morning the incident was a simple battery between two 16-year-olds near the teen’s home at 118th and Wentworth.

But Darion Jones’ family told reporters he was badly beaten Saturday afternoon by a group of teens driven to the home by two Fenger High School coaches.

He said the attack has left him afraid and not wanting to go to school
