Rumors had been going around of Christina Aguilera being axed from the NBC show “The Voice” so NBC had to release a statement denying that she had been fired from the hit competition show.
NBC executive vice-president Paul Telegdy said in a statement: “There is absolutely no truth to the rumor.”
“The Voice” premiered in April and became an immediate success. Aguilera will return for season 2 alongside fellow celebrity judges Adam Levine, Cee-lo Green and Blake Shelton.
