Talk about a comeback!
Michael Vick, 31, has made an agreement with the Philadelphia Eagles on a six-year contract that again makes the Pro Bowl quarterback one of the highest-paid players in the NFL.
A source told the Associated Press, the deal is worth $100 million, with about $40 million guaranteed. The person spoke on condition of anonymity because terms weren’t released.
Vick went from filing bankruptcy back in 2008 to earning little more than $16 million this season after he was named the franchise player in February. He will likely take a little less to possibly give the Eagles some flexibility to pay Pro Bowl WR DeSean Jackson.
