Beyonce will hit the stage at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards for the first time in two years. King Bey has 3 nominations this year including Best Female Video, Best Choreography and Best Cinematography.
Amy Doyle, executive producer of the 2011 MTV VMAs and MTV’s EVP of Music & Talent, had this to say about Bey hitting the stage at the VMAs: “Her performances at the VMAs are legendary — leaving everyone breathless and talking for days. We can’t wait to see her set the stage on fire once again!”
Other artist performing for the 2011 MTV VMAs include Lady Gaga, Adele, Bruno Mars, Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, Young the Giant, Pitbull and Ne-Yo.
The VMAs will air live from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday, August 28th at 9 p.m.
