ESPN Analyst Jalen Rose Pleads GUILTY to Drunk Driving
Former NBA player and ESPN analyst Jalen Rose pleaded guilty Wednesday to drunken driving. Rose admitted to getting behind the wheel after guzzling six martinis and crashed his SUV into a tree. He and his female passenger were unhurt.
Rose is possibly facing 93 days in jail and a $500 fine.
In court, District Judge Kimberly Small asked Rose how many drinks he’d had. Rose replied: “I’m embarrassed to say I had six drinks that evening,” adding the drinks were all martinis. When the judge asked how big they were, Rose said: “I’m embarrassed to say too big.”
Rose was pulled from television after the incident occurred but he returned recently to analyze the NBA Playoffs.
