Republican House Minority Leader Robert Watson was ARRESTED and charged with driving under the influence and marijuana possesion this past Friday at a police check point in East Heaven, Connecticut.
According to the police report Watson smelled like alcohol and pot, he slurred his words and his eyes “were extremely glassy and bloodshot.”
Watson recently told the Providence journal, “Trace evidence of marijuana was discovered and I was charged with operating under the influence, a charge I vehemently deny.”
The police found a “small plastic sandwich bag containing a green leafy plantlike substance and a small wooden marijuana pipe.”
