A video game company called Gate Five filed a lawsuit today in New York against Beyoncé claiming she was the cause of ruining 70 people’s Christmas. Why do you ask?
Well, Gate Five was suppose to create a game with Beyoncé called ”Starpower: Beyonce.” According to the the lawsuit documents, Beyoncé demanded MORE money during a “crucial moment in the project’s development” even though a contract was already in place.
According to TMZ
Gate Five claims her move “drove 70 people into unemployment, the week before Christmas” … and notes that one of the project’s backers described her conduct as “morally reprehensible.”
The company is claiming to be entitled to $6.7 million that they invested in this project. Not only that, they believed they would have earned more than $100 million in profits had the project been completed and they want that too!
