Ja Rule is digging himself into even more trouble by pleading guilty to tax evasion in a federal courtroom in Newark, New Jersey today (March 22nd). He admitted he faied to pay taxes on more than $3 million in income earned between 2004 – 2006.

As part of a plea agreement, the government has dismissed two counts against him for unpaid taxes on income earned in 2007 and 2008. He is expected to be sentenced in June.

Ja Rule has already pled guilty to possession of a weapon back in December where he has to serve 2 years in prison.
