This is kinda scary…Rihanna is suppose to star in a remake to the 1992 hit The Bodyguard. The film will be scripted by Jeremiah Friedman and Nick Palmer.
The updated script will cast the bodyguard as “..a former Iraq war veteran who gets the job protecting a big star as his first gig after leaving the Army. He discovers that the world of Twitter, Google Maps and TMZ has made access to celebrities easier than ever, making the job more difficult than ever.”
Other names thrown up for suggestion for the Whitney Houston’s role include Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift. Really though? I hope and PRAY RiRi doesn’t attempt to remake ANY of Whitney’s songs for The Bodyguard soundtrack.
