Ja Rule was suppose to appear in court this morning (Feb. 9) to find out when he will begin serving time behind bars but apparently the courts didn’t have their ish together.

Prosecutors said that changes are needed in a pre-sentencing report for Ja. He’s now due back March 9th to be given a sentencing date, reports the AP.

Ja Rule (real name Jeffrey Atkins) pled guilty to attempted criminal possession of a weapon back in Dec. 2010. In July 2007 incident, police found a loaded handgun in the rear door of his Maybach.

His plea deal calls for him to serve 2 years behind bars.
