GRTC’s union members have again rejected a tentative labor contract, union and transit company officials said.
The labor union voted yesterday to reject the company’s offer, said Deloris Coker, president of the Amalgamated Transit Union’s Local 1220.
Both sides said they will meet again with federal mediators to try to reach an agreement.
“For now, business will continue as normal,“ said John M. Lewis Jr., GRTC’s chief executive officer. “In the event of labor action, we will notify you of temporary changes that may occur as a result of this action.‘
