Hip-Hop mogul turned actor Sean “Diddy” Combs recently discussed his challenges as an actor and also spoke about his new film Get Him To The Greek.

In the interview with BlacktreeTV, Diddy reveals that he considers his role in his new film to be the ‘break out’ role that he has been looking for.

“I think that with this role, it was my chance to put all of the stuff I learned on the set of Monsters Ball and on Broadway to the test,” Diddy said. “I really took all of the experience I learned from people like Heath Ledger and Billy Bob Thornton and put it into the role, to just feel comfortable and make a role that everyone will remember.”

Diddy also took the time to reveal how he caught his big break in the industry by signing R&B artist Christopher Williams.

“I remember that Andre Harrell told me that he would give me my big shot,” Diddy recalled. “My job was to fly to L.A. and get Christopher Williams to sign with [Uptown Records], because he wasn’t really signing with no one back then. So I went to L.A. and brought him a Porsche. I think he thought he was mind f*ckin’ me, but he didn’t know that I was the master at mind f*ckin’, so of course I got the deal.”

Diddy must use that mind “freaking” thing in more areas than just record deals because his business game is serious.
