Biggie’s Estate Denies Claim Diddy Deducted Funeral Costs
In Sean Combs: The Reckoning, former Bad Boy executive Kirk Burrowes alleges that Sean “Diddy” Combs deducted expenses related to Christopher “The Notorious B.I.G.” Wallace’s funeral from the late rapper’s royalties.
Biggie’s estate flatly denies the allegation, calling it false and disrespectful to the family’s legacy. While the doc reignited long-standing debates over Bad Boy’s business practices, the estate says there’s no basis for the claim and urged outlets and fans not to repeat it as fact.
As of now, neither Diddy nor Burrowes has issued additional documentation publicly to support or refute the documentary’s assertion.
Documentary soundbite or not, Biggie’s estate says the funeral-deduction story is untrue—and they want the record set straight.
