For over 12 years, Dominique’s voice has been heard all over the D.M.V area and is now syndicated in several markets through Reach Media’s Afternoon drive show, ‘The ‘Quicksilva Show with Dominique Da Diva.’ A lovely lady of Alpha Kappa Alpha, Inc.
Dominique began her media career in radio through an internship in her hometown of Richmond, Virginia. After receiving her broadcast journalism degree from Virginia State University, she set out on a journey to become an all around ‘media queen’. From holding down every time slot, to achieving consecutive #1 in ratings for women 25-54, Dominique knows her audience and lives and breathes the culture. During her time off the air, you can hear her unfiltered on her popular podcast, ‘Diva Unfiltered’ available on Youtube & Apple podcast.
Full of radiant personality and comedic one-liners, Dominique continues to exemplify what Beyonce’ means when she says, ‘a diva is a female version of a hustler.’ She’s graced stages & red carpets with countless public figures and celebrities like Whoppi Goldberg, Tyler Perry, and Kendrick Lamar. She has also interviewed prominent leaders of our community like our beloved 44th President, Barack and as well as first Lady Michelle Obama.
The media diva is a humble recipient of MSBC’s 2016 Rising Radio Star Award as well as an honoree of Diddy’s DeLeon 100 Trailblazer Award 2017, featured in Billboard Magazine. The list of trailblazers from all across the country are prime examples of millennials alike who are disrupting the status quo; empowering others to act boldly, shape the future and give back to their community.
