Richmond Mayor Levar Stoney called up Miss Community Clovia to chat about GRTC providing free rides to the polls on Tuesday, November 6, 2018, for residents living in the city of Richmond.

There are 23 of 24 local bus routes serving the 67 poll precincts in Richmond on Tuesday, November 6.  The buses will operate from 6:00 a.m. -7:00 p.m. The buses will drop off residents near but not directly to their voting precinct. Richmond residents may have to walk a quarter of a mile or less to their poll location.

Mayor Stoney says providing free rides to the polls on Election Day will remove barriers and obstacles from individuals who are eligible to vote.
