What a convenience! Cellphones are now allowed in Richmond Court buildings because of a policy change. The ‘Richmond Times-Dispatch’ reports a recent policy change will now allow visitors to check their phones with sheriff’s deputies before entering instead of not being able to bring the devices in at all. The change is being made following an article from the ‘The New York Times’ last month about the old rule and the problems it was creating for people visiting court buildings.
