Simone Williams is a practicing attorney here in Richmond, Virginia. She graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University and obtained her Juris Doctorate from William & Mary Law School in 2014. She started her career as a Legal Advocate for the Virginia Department of Corrections and was hired at McEachin and Gee (now the Gee Law Firm) shortly after passing the bar. Through the mentorship of Congressman Donald McEachin and Donald Gee, she found her calling to become a litigation attorney.

She is a firm believer that today’s youth should have positive role models to look to as they achieve their goals and face today’s challenges in our community. Because of this, Simone has always been passionate about participating in volunteer opportunities that will make a positive impact on our younger generation. She is currently a mentor at the Peter Paul Development Center located in the east end of Richmond. Through the Gee Law Firm, she also volunteers with the Lunch Buddy Program in South Hill Virginia, where she reads and has lunch with law firm’s adopted first grade class.

She is also very active within the Virginia State Bar where she serves as the athletics chair for the Bar’s annual conference. In addition, she is a committee member of the Bench Bar Dinner that celebrates women and minority judges that are selected to serve on the bench. In the past, she has served on panels that offer advice for students who are interested in attending college and law school.
