3rd Annual Unity In Pink- “Workout Against Breast Cancer”
Unite in the fight to prevent breast cancer with RVA’s best fitness instructors! This two-hour event includes music from the hottest DJ, Zumba, bootcamp, line dancing, games, prizes, and much more! This is a sneaker-only event so get your Fitbits ready because you will sweat and burn calories! 20% of the admission cost goes to the Virginia Breast Cancer Foundation. 2nd Street Festival in Jackson Ward

Southern Hip Hop legend Yo Gotti comes to Richmond Saturday, Oct. 7 at Altria Theater. Known for hits such as “5 Star,” Women Lie, Men Lie” featuring Lil Wayne, “Act Right” featuring Young Jeezy and YG and “Down in the DM” featuring Nikki Minaj, Yo Gotti’s latest album, The Art of Hustle, reached No. 1 on the Billboard charts. Hogtober
The BBQ-eating, beer-drinking, music-listening all-day festival in Church Hill. Featuring finger-licking good BBQ from Alamo BBQ, Buz and Ned’s, Jadean’s Smokin’ Six O and much more. Plus honey ginger and sweet-potato sage beer from Ardent Craft Ales, which was born in a Church Hill garage before moving to the craft brewery capital of Richmond, Scott’s Addition.
