Looks like Nicki Minaj’s empire is growing. According to Deadline, Nicki is set to executive produce and appear in an ABC Family series about her life before the fame. The series, which is scheduled to film a pilot episode this winter, will focus on her experiences growing up in Queens in the 1990s as an immigrant (she was born in Trinada and Tobago). It will show her life with the personal and musical evolution that lead to her eventual rise to stardom. They are currently looking for a young star to play young Nicki on the show.
