Good news for Bobby Shmurda, Judge William Miller ruled that Shmurda’s gun possession charge be thrown out during a five minute hearing Tuesday morning in Brooklyn Supreme Court.
“There were several people in the home with this alleged gun possession,” Shmurda’s lawyer, Ken Montgomery, said during the hearing.
Shmurda kept his head down during his court appearance with his hands handcuffed behind his back. None of his family or friends was in the courtroom to support him.
That charge was dismissed but Shmurda isn’t out of the woods yet.
According to Bossip, Bobby Shmurda has been in jail since late last year on $2 million bail on felony conspiracy, reckless endangerment and gun charges.
Shmurda’s lawyer called his client’s $2 million bail “ridiculous,” and said he was still in the process of trying to bail him out.
