Fall Out Boy, Wiz Khalifa Announce Extensive ‘Boys of Zummer’ Tour

ut Boy and Wiz Khalifa are teaming up for a co-headlining tour this summer, with plans to hit more than 40 cities in support of their respective albums, American Beauty/American Psycho and Blacc Hollywood.

The “Boys of Zummer” trek starts June 10th in Camden, New Jersey and will criss-cross the U.S. over the next three months before finishing at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on August 10th. Rapper/singer Hoodie Allen has been tapped as the tour’s special guest. A full list of dates is below. (Note: Only Fall Out Boy and Hoodie Allen are scheduled to play the June 20th show in Bangor, Maine.)

General tickets for select cities go on sale January 23rd at 10 a.m. local time via Live Nation.

Fall Out Boy are scheduled to release American Beauty/American Psycho on January 20th. The album is available to stream in its entirety on Vevo right now. Khalifa’s Blacc Hollywood dropped last August and marked the rapper’s first Number One record.

Fall Out Boy’s American Beauty/American Psycho follows their 2013 record, Save Rock and Roll, which arrived after a short hiatus. With two new singles climbing the charts — AB/AP cut “Centuries” and “Immortals,” off the Big Hero 6 soundtrack — the pop punk heroes have proven their staying power at a time when few rock bands can compete with the dance sounds dominating the Top 40. “We thought that was the end of radio for us,” frontman Patrick Stump told Rolling Stone. “We thought we would go out, play some shows and, you know, whatever. This is a disco era, so to hear our songs on the radio is kind of surprising.”

Fox Renews ‘Empire’ for Second Season After Two Episodes

Fox is placing all of its chips on breakout hit, Empire.

The network renewed the show for a second season only after airing two episodes. According to Entertainment Weekly, the modern day soap opera by Lee Daniels brought in 9 million viewers for the show’s premiere and roughly 10.3 million in the second. The show has been a hit in the social media realms like ABC’s Scandal and How To Get Away With Murder.

The drama has helped out Fox in a major way. The network is number four among the big networks and its Fall shows have all seen a decline in ratings. Empire along with fellow hit drama Gotham were approved under the networks previous programming honcho, Kevin Reilly. Critics are unsure if the network’s current team can keep the momentum going.

Taraji P. Henson, who plays Cookie on the show tweeted her reaction to the big news, “The #Empire has YOU THE PPL to thank,” she said. “There would be no #EMPIRE without YOU THE BEAUTIFUL PPL! So thank you again! You guys are the BEST!”

A$AP Yams, Founding Member of A$AP Mob, Dead at 26

Steven Rodriguez, better known to the Hip Hop world as A$AP Yams has died.

Details behind his death are currently unknown, but members of the mob such as A$AP Ferg, Bari and Rocky have spoken out on social media about their friend. The 26-year old founded the mob with A$AP Bari and A$AP Illz in 2007. After meeting Rocky in 2008, the group began to grow bigger and they found success after the release of Rocky’s mixtape, Live. Love. A$AP.

Yams made a name for Rocky and the other members of the mob on his Tumblr page. In an interview with the New York Times, he credited the page to his success and called Rocky “Luke Skywalker” to his “Yoda.”

A$AP Ant has spoken about the passing of Mob leader A$AP Yams with VladTV. News of the 26-year-old’s death sent waves of shock through the Hip Hop world with artists and fans sharing their favorite memories of the young mogul online.

Calling him a visionary, Ant speaks on Yams passing and says that the New Yorker would want people to be happy instead of mourning his passing. While reflecting on Yams’ talents, he also touched on the rumors that Yams died of an overdose.

“That’s not what it is,” he said. “People keep talking saying he overdosed on Xanax and s*** like that. No, that’s not what happened at all. It wasn’t that at all.”

He also spoke out about a photo that depicted A$AP Rocky at the hospital with Yams.

“Everybody on Instagram posting pictures of Rocky at the hospital where he passed away at, ya’ll looking like females and the tabloids,” he said. “That’s not any of your business to post that. That’s private for somebody. I would want to see a picture of me on the internet going to the hospital to see my grandfather while he’s dying. I wouldn’t want to see that.”

Ant broke down his friendship with Yams and how he was welcomed to the Mob family.

Wiz Khalifa Reacts to Amber Rose’s Jaw-Dropping G-String Pics

Amber Rose’s balcony g-string photos nearly broke the interwebs, causing everyone to drool over the model’s curious body. As fans continued to share the photos around the web, the model faced scrutiny for putting her body on display. Similar to Kim Kardashian’s full frontal backlash for her Paper magazine shoot, many believe Amber’s motherhood status should have her thinking twice before uploading such risque photos.

Her estranged husband and father of her child, Wiz Khalifa, shared his thoughts on the photos on Twitter.

Meanwhile, the model relaxed in Miami in a pink bikini and wrap, covering up her infamous curves.
