Politicians, activists and business leaders converged on Washington, D.C. for the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s 44th Annual Legislative Conference.

During this year’s conference,  we sat in on a number of informative panel discussions and spoke with L-Mani S. Viney, National Chairman for Kappa Alpha Psi Guide Right Program, about the importance of the CBCF annual conference.

In this recap, you’ll see excerpts from the Politics and Hip Hop panel featuring Reverend Yearwood, MC Lyte and WEEN CEO, Valeisha Butterfield Jones.

View a portion of the Voting Rights Panel with Michael Eric Dyson and Michael Skolnik and then be encouraged by the words Rev. Calvin O. Butts.
