Chris Brown and his bodyguard were arrested and charged with misdemeanor assault last October for allegedly punching a man who was trying to take Chris’ picture. The bodyguard was found guilty earlier this year, while Chris continued to maintain his innocence and even rejected a plea deal at first.

But All that changed when he pled guilty to a lesser charge of simple assault in a brief hearing at a D.C. court today. Chris apologized and told the judge he just wants to put the whole thing behind him so he can focus on getting his music career back on track and and going on tour again.

The judge sentenced him to time served [the two days he spent in jail after being arrested] and fined him $150.
