According to sources, Big Sean broke off the engagement to Naya Rivera earlier this week because she was way too controlling in the relationship and would fly into jealous rages — even breaking furniture in his home. She was very insecure in the relationship, due to his studio schedule and him always being on the road and she would say things to emasculate him during arguments such as, “If you don’t listen to what I say, I’ll ruin your career.”
According to TMZ:
We’re told she was suspicious whenever Sean was with other women and would work herself up into jealous rages … once breaking an expensive lamp during a rampage in his home.
We’re also told Big Sean and Naya went to couples counseling — which apparently worked because Sean realized how much he HATED being a couple … and decided to get the hell out.
Sources close to the couple also tell us that Naya was pissed when Sean decided to get out of the relationship, so her reps leaked the story to Star Magazine that Big Sean had cheated on her to create a sob story. She also tweeted that he stole jewelry from her house, to paint him as a thief, when he actually took back a Rolex watch that he gave her as a gift. The watch was the first piece of jewelry he bought when he made it big.
