“The 5 Heartbeats” Sequel In The Making
Due to the recent success of “The Best Man Holiday,” Robert Townsend has been given the green light for “The 5 Heartbeats” sequel! Townsend told BlackAmericaWeb, “I am working on a sequel. Next year I’ll be making an announcement.” Since the boys reunited at the 2011 BET Awards, we know they still got it! Not sure what the plot will be since we watched them grow old in the first film, but who cares.
