Hosted by Radio One’s Miss Community Clovia, the Forgive, Forget and Move Forward Women’s Forum will give women the tools needed to move forward from their past. Our panel of experts will offer sound advice on getting the best out of life by living in the present.

Panelists include:

bookerKIM BOOKER – Kim Booker is a change agent, youth mentor, community activist and child advocate. She is also the Founder, Executive Director of the Alexander Lance Booker Child Safety Foundation. This 501 (c) non-profit, established in the memory of her 12 year old son, Alex, who was killed in June of 2007 in a construction site accident at the National Harbor in Oxon Hill, MD. Since then, she’s vigorously advocates for new laws to protect children and bring awareness to all preventable accidents. Kimberly is the proud spiritual mother of 3; Taylor, Aaron, step-son Alphonso.

dr-erica-royal-sept-9-2013DR. ERICA M. ROYAL – Dr. Erica Royal is a native of Los Angeles, California. She now lives in Richmond, Virginia. Dr. Royal is interested in all aspects of women’s health. She speaks Spanish as well. Dr. Royal has been named one of America’s Top Obstetricians and Gynecologists by the Consumer’s Research Council of America.

dierdre-johnson-pic-sept-9-2013DIERDRE JOHNSON – Miss Johnson is a native of Richmond, Virginia by way of Northern Virginia. She has had an interest in HIV/AIDS education since 2000, when the disease hit too close to home. Deirdre began her journey in Health education in Northern Virginia where she was a peer health educator and then moved to Richmond, VA to take up a position as a Prevention Case Manager. Her career has led her to do outreach for a local free clinic, as well as, aid in facilitation of free or low-cost medication to indigent patients in the Richmond and Central Virginia Area.

morris2ARTRIANNA MORRIS – Artrianna formed “Equipped 4 Life MBSS (mind body soul and spirit)” in 2005. As President she helps clients develop Spending Plans and serves as their Budget Coach until they have reached established goals. She teaches Debt Free Living Principles, Starting A Business, Business Planning and a host of other business related classes to Churches, Schools, Virginia Employment Centers, Goodwill Offices and other companies. She targets, youth, young adults and senior citizens because these are the populations most often targeted by predatory lenders.

EFFIE WHITE – Personal trainer Effie is the proud mother of two beautiful children – Kaishela, a freshman at Virginia State University and Chance, an eighth grade student at Manchester Middle School. She was born and raised in Gordonsville, Virginia where she attended Orange County Public Schools. With an older brother as a star athlete, the drive for athletic perfection was a seed planted early in life. While in middle and high school, she was active in basketball, track and cheerleading. Her passion for basketball eventually evolved into a five year coaching career for middle, junior varsity and varsity girls’ basketball with Richmond Public Schools. Effie has been a certified personal trainer and group fitness instructor for two years, specializing in the “Stiletto Workout”!
