We don’t know what is up with celebrities not paying their taxes, but this is seriously becoming an epidemic.
According to TMZ, Fat Joe is the latest entertainer to serve time for skipping out on his required payments to Uncle Sam.
The “Lean Back” turned himself in to authorities Monday to serve a 4-month prison sentence for tax envision.
As reported earlier, the CEO of Terror Squad Entertainment failed to pay taxes for more than $1 million of income in 2007 and in 2008. He pled guilty to the federal offense in December 2012.

The Bronx native, whose real name is Joseph Cartagena, will serve the sentence at a federal detention center in Miami.
Attorney Jeffrey Lichtman told The Associated Press that his client was in good spirits when he surrendered. He added that he’s looking forward rejoining his family before Christmas.
