Over the weekend, Twitter was buzzing with rumors that J. Cole was kicked out of the VMA’s after party at PHD, after he was involved in a scuffle with Diddy. Numerous attendees at the party tweeted about the incident, including one guest at the Dream Hotel who wrote, “lol @ J Cole in the elevator last night. We were going up and he was getting thrown out for trying to fight Diddy. #Lifesfunny.”
According to sources of the New York Post, the alleged fight happened after J. Cole said something inappropriate about Cassie to Diddy:
“J. Cole was saying inappropriate things to Sean Combs and his girlfriend, Cassie. Sean immediately pounced. Some pushing and shoving happened. No punches were thrown, but it was a visible disturbance. A few bottles splashed to the floor and some partygoers were knocked over, falling on top of Renee Graziano from ‘Mob Wives.’ ”
While some reports stated that the fight was more physical and J. was actually escorted out of the building, J. Cole tweeted, “people will believe anything.” His road manager, Ibrahim, also responded to the rumors on Twitter, and although he didn’t deny the incident, he said folks need to get their facts straight.
“The internet is a crazy place you n—az reporting s–t with no facts. Cole ain’t get thrown out no party and he damn sure ain’t get beat up. Ain’t gon go into details about last night but get the facts right first before you rush to report some s–t for some extra blog clicks.”
Later, Diddy posted to twitter:
I usually don’t address rumors but I got too much respect for my bro @JColeNC. We are friends. We just yell in public sometimes LOL #Fam
hmm something may have went down but I’m sure by now things go squared away before it went crazy!! Still waiting on the video thou!!
