Pay your taxes! Yesterday in court, the judge for Lauryn Hill’s tax evasion case gave her a break because of the back taxes that she owes. Last summer, Lauryn wrote an open letter to the public and explains why she hasn’t paid her taxes from 2005 through 2007. Last week, she faded away from society due to the manipulation and threats to her family. Lauryn pleaded guilty to tax evasion but waiting for an $650,000 loan to pay off everything after signing a million dollar record deal with Sony . She has until the 3rd of this month pay up or faces sentencing on the 6th based on whether she had paid the half-million dollar in restitution.
